Robot Shuttle racking with a monolithic racking system, using a Pallet Shuttle Robot to transfer pallets onto the racking lane, replacing forklifts running into the racking rows. The Robot Shuttle consists of 3 main parts: Conventional forklift; Pallet Shuttle Robot running on the system’s rails (using batteries to operate independently); racking system with rails, capable of storing a large number of pallets.

Operating principle

– Receiving goods: robots are placed on tracks, forklifts will load goods onto the robot, press the control to start the robot, lift and move the pallet containing goods to the required position.
– Shipping goods: press the control to make the robot run deep inside the shelf to pick up the iron pallet containing goods to the end of the shelf, and the staff will pick up the pallet containing goods with a forklift.

Operating process of the automated racking system

– Step 1: The forklift places the Robot Shuttle at the desired loading position.
– Step 2: The forklift moves the pallet containing goods into the rack position where the Robot is already placed.
– Step 3: Use the remote control to send commands to the Robot Shuttle to move the goods pallet.
– Step 4: The Robot lifts and moves the goods pallet deep into the desired position (according to the pre-set command).
– Step 5: After placing the goods pallet in the correct position, the Robot returns to the front of the rack aisle, repeating the operation until the rack level is full, before the last position is filled. The Robot is then removed and moved to another position to continue operation.
