Stacker-Bot Mobile Robot and ASRS system

automatic-robotic - VietPOS Rack

Stacker-Bot Mobile robot can store and retrieve up to five boxes or totes in one trip. The AMR automatically picks up a box or tote, scans its barcode, and stores it in the Stacker-Bot on any of the five on-board shelves. It then uses RCS (robot control system) and communicates with the host WMS/WCS software system. Let’s learn more about this solution with Viet Pos Rack. ASRS Stacking Bot AMR System

Once inventory has been retrieved, the Stacker‐Bot is navigated via the WMS/WES software server to place inventory into precise locations. The price, price level, and shelf location for each of the five SKUs are communicated to the Stacker‐Bot. The mobile robot always travels the shortest path to its location. If you are interested in the possibility of incorporating Stacker-Bots or other types of autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) or automation technology into your warehouse or order fulfillment operation, we would be happy to help.

AMR Applications

Moving Inventory In and Out:

– Flow rack
– Pallet rack
– Workstations
– Automated equipment
– Conveyors
– Stacker bot_Conveyco

– After the AMR picks its product for replenishment, the Stacker‐Bot uses two-way camera technology to find its initial location. It verifies its location by scanning the barcode on the rack and shelf level. It then automatically places the tote or case into the appropriate SKU location. This operation is performed transparently from the picking operator at the front of the flow rack.

– The mobile robot moves to its next location and repeats this process until it is fully unloaded. It then returns to the replenishment station for more SKUs and repeats the process. The number of Stacker‐Bots needed for a system is based on throughput, capacity, and floor space requirements.
