2. Drive-In Racking
Drive-In racking is a system that maximizes storage capacity in a warehouse. Aisles are eliminated, and forklifts move directly into the racking’s guide rails. Thanks to this design, heavy-duty Drive-In racking offers superior storage density compared to other racking types.
Maximum load up to 1000 kg/pallet, height can reach 11m. The design and specifications of Drive-In racks can vary depending on customer needs. Goods can be loaded and unloaded from 1 or both sides.
3. Double Deep Racking
Double Deep racking is created by two rows of heavy-duty racks placed back-to-back. Load capacity >500 kg/pallet, the design of the rack depends on the forklift’s load capacity. The type of forklift used is a reach truck, capable of retrieving goods located deep inside the rack.
Using the LIFO (Last-In, First-Out) principle, to retrieve goods from within, you need to move the outer pallets first. This type of racking is commonly used in warehouses that do not require precise access to goods, such as agricultural products, food, electronics, etc.
4. Push Back Racking
Heavy-duty Push Back racking also operates based on gravity, with goods automatically sliding to the retrieval position. This type of racking helps increase storage density similar to Drive-In racking, as aisle space is minimized. Each lane can store 2-5 pallets deep.
Similar to Double Deep racking, Push Back racking operates on the LIFO principle, where the last item stored is the first item retrieved. Push Back racking is an excellent solution for warehouses with high land costs that need to maximize storage capacity.
