Wire Mesh Container

Wire Mesh Container are used in factories and warehouses to organise and store goods. They can be stacked to make the most of vertical space and to store more goods. When not in use, the side panels can be folded down to create a compact stack. Due to its mesh construction, it is lightweight compared to its load-bearing capacity. The surface is generally painted or plated to make it rustproof and highly durable. A long-lasting storage solution.

Names of the parts of the Wire Mesh Container

– Mesh pitch: The spacing between the steel pieces. 50 x 50mm means that the steel pieces are arranged in a grid at intervals of 50mm, while 50 x 100mm is also available. These are usually cheaper than those with a narrower mesh pitch because of the wider spacing and the smaller amount of steel used. However, the load capacity is reduced.

– Wire diameter: The diameter of the steel. If the wire diameter is 6.0mm, the diameter of the steel latticed together is 6mm. The larger the wire diameter, the higher the load capacity, but also the weight of the product. The most common diameter is around 6 mm.

– Door: The front of the mesh pallet. The doors can be folded even when the pallets are stacked on top of each other. Depending on the size of the goods to be stored, it may be possible to remove the contents of the pallets while they are stacked. In rare cases, the doors do not open.

– Legs: The legs of the mesh pallets. Some pallets have grooves on the bottom of the legs. This prevents the mesh pallets from shifting when they are stacked on top of each other. Even if the bottom of the pallets has grooves, they may not be able to be stacked due to the loading capacity.
